Dr
Dilip Nadkarni is an Orthopedic Surgeon specialising in
sports medicine. He has had a brilliant academic career
with distinctions and gold medals. He has a vast
experience of treating sports injuries with arthroscopic
surgical techniques. He has been involved with total
rehabilitation of sports-persons after their injuries.
Dr Nadkarni launched the Fit India movement with an idea
to spread fitness in the community. He conducts workshops
for corporate audiences on fitness and better health.
Dr Nadkarni has already released his videocassette on
fitness with the name REAL FITNESS. The cassette has had
several reprints and has been hailed as a simple and
practical manual on safe and effective exercise.
Dr Nadkarni runs FIT INDIA a sportsmedicine and
arthroscopy clinic in Santacruz, Mumbai. He is attached
to Piramal Hospital for sports medicine and performs his
arthroscopic surgeries at Lilavati Hospital in Mumbai.
