3. We have been predicting the unpredictable in medicine, like the astrologers.
4. Dynamic human body does not follow the simple linear relationships, as taught.
5. To predict the future of man’s health, one has to have the total knowledge of man, including his genotype, which is not possible in our present state of knowledge..
6. Very small initial change might result in major changes in the outcome of the system in the long run, consequently all our controlled studies, per force, are not fully valid.
7. The new science of Chaos and the non-linear fractal mathematics, applied to medical research, should give us better insight into man’s destiny on this planet.
8. We doctors still have a vital role to play to " cure rarely, comfort mostly, but to console always.
9. Applying this new mathematics, our studies could all be looked at differently, for better predictability.
